VIRTUAL DUB (you find it with google) has some nice video filters I use to tweak the contrast and brightness. I offer no duplication of the online manuals.

Videos taken by my Powershot A510 camerain in low light are very dark. I have the AF-assist beam on. I can see the images in the LCD monitor adequately but when I download to my PC Windows 98SE and view the videos with QuickTime they are very dark and I don't see any way to brighten them with QuickTime. I can view them in Windows Media Player and am able to brighten them but is there a way to save them so that they can be sent so that other people can play them without trying to find a way to brighten them?
