I have Vista Home Premium and can't open .ppt files. I downloaded MS Office Powerpoint Viewer 2007 from Download.com but when I try to view a .ppt file I'm told it can't be opened. Some help will be very much appreciated.
TIA
David

Are you sure that the file you are attempting to open is not corrupted and is otherwise intact/good?

Well, I can open the file in Star Office Impress ok but I find that rather cumbersome.

Now don't take this wrong. It must be asked.

1. You wrote you downloaded the viewer. Did you install it?
2. There is an issue if you try to open this from an email. Next time save it to the desktop and open it from there.
