Powerpoint trouble after FIREFOX uninstall

A friend of mine is having trouble viewing powerpoint files (.pps) AFTER uninstalling FIREFOX browser. He has reverted back to using IE7 but can't get powerpoint files which other people have sent him to play. Before he installed and used FIREFOX, he had no problem with .pps files being sent to him.

Assuming he still has his MS OFFICE CD, does it allow for a CUSTOM INSTALL so he can select and re-install POWERPOINT ONLY?

Walt, Follow the instructions at the link below. Using the PPSFix utility is the way to go.
