your sound card is not found by power dvd check the sound card setting in windows are set the same as power dvd 5 open power dvd5 click the i to update i power click config check audio settings
I have PowerDVD 5 installed on my system (Windows XP Professional with SP2). For some reason it will not play the audio on a DVD. It only plays the video. The volume is all the way up and I have tried several DVD's. (They play fine in Windows Media player, I just don't like to use Media player). Cyberlink's tech support is no help and I don't get any error messages. This happened about a month ago, but I was able to fix it by reinstalling. Reinstalling didn't work this time though. Has anyone else had this problem and knows how to fix it?
