Most of these run all that time. Even the ones I've seen with temperature sensors always turn.

Hi There I wonder if any of you guys and gals out there can help me. I have a freind who brought her computer to me and said it got hot crashed and would'nt start.
I looked in side made sure all conections were secure and tried to start it. It started OK but I noticed that the PSU which is a FSP Group inc. Model FSP 300-60pna has a large fan inside it which is Aprox 4 1/2 inches across and is behind a chrome grill the fan was not spinning. "This Fan can only be seen from insinde the computer caseing" Should this fan be running sll the time or only when things get warm enough to start the fan???
You input will be more than welcomed.
Kindest Regards Tony B.
