Question

POWER CLEAN mobile app took over my Samsung smartphone

Jul 31, 2016 3:31PM PDT

This free app was developed by Lionmobi Corp. and it took over my Samsung Exhibit SGH-T599N phone. Can anyone help me with this?
It works on an Android 4.1.2 operating system. This app took over my screen and I cannot go forward, backwards or turn off my phone. This happened when I was trying to switch to another application and had to draw the recognizing pattern to unlock the app. It's Sunday, I cannot find the developers Lionmobi corp. contact info on their website and I have to wait until Monday to get a hold of them.
If somebody knows of a similar problem with a solution please let me know.

When we see them we try resetting the phone and if it's locked up the phone we factory reset the phone and tell the owner they need to avoid bad apps like that.

Thank you for your tip but how can I reset the phone ?

Hi, right now I waited for the battery to drain to 0 so I can plug in the charger, hoping that maybe the phone might start normally and just forget about the blocking app Power Clean. This app was developed by Lion Mobi Corp. from Hong Kong and I will try to contact their rep. in Albany, NY.
So how do you reset the phone if it's not going to start up normally and it will continue to stay blocked in Power Clean ?

Google like this. "How do I factory reset my Samsung (insert model here)"

I must be missing the model so I'll tell how I look that up.

Power off your phone.
Hold and press together Volume Up + Home button + Power button.
When you see logo Samung release Power button.
When you see Android green man release rest of the buttons.
Now choose with Volume buttons option "wipe data/factory reset", and confirm with Power button.
