POWER ADAPTER(S)

Feb 24, 2008 4:19PM PST

A friend from Spain is going to be visiting the U.S. He has a lot of Apple products and I know that he will be bringing his PowerBook Pro and will need to charge it while he is here. He also has a Canon digital camera. Are there any adapters so that he can use American voltage and American electrical plugs?

I have seen some things advertised that do this but now that I need to know about them, I cannot remember where I saw the ads.

Thank you,

Power Adapters

The PowerBook Pro power adapter is a dual voltage device. It will take anything from 90V to 250V AC at 50 or 60 hertz (Cycles)

All you friend needs to do is find a suitable adapter so that it will plug into the American sockets.

On the subject of the Canon camera, that is something that he will need to take up with Canon. He might want to check the writing on that particular power adapter first. It may well be dual voltage too.

Hope this helps
