doing what it is doing now prior of your comcast?
If it is not .. then your comcast Wifi is the cause.
If your mouse have the problem before your comcast wifi.. then it is your mouse or pc problem.
To use other people Wifi (whatever the term is, checking, testing, stealing eyc.) just disable your WiFi.. and try to connect to any available network .. if you can browse . then it is an unsecure connection.
Who is that belong to?? God only knows... but most likely... 1 or 2 houses from your location.
I just had a wi-fi router set up by Comcast and they showed me how to secure it so no one can tap in my computer network. I'm using a mouse and keyboard which are wireless (not sure if this is the right term or not). Ever since I had this wi-fi router set up, every night about 6 to 6:30 p.m., my mouse starts acting flakey. Starts moving when my hands are not on the mouse. I've talked to Comcast about this and they told me that someone has set up an unsecured wi-fi system. My question is this: How can I track down which of my neighbors has this unsecured wi-fi network? Comcast didn't have any information on how to do this.
Thanks for any help provided.
