I am not writing it for you. I find today's IT staffers to not do this anymore but to just put in the hours so they get paid for work. Seems working smart is not rewarded anymore?
I'v got a question if it's possible to do the following in a script or in a way so I do not have to do it manualy....:
first of all I'm sorry for my poor english but I'll do my best...
I have to clean a lot of pc's in a network (windows 2003 server and XP machines) we use "altiris" to deploy software or other scripts.
On al of the clients I have to clean any installation of Canon driver find on that machine en delete them. Canon asked me to do the following:
Step 1. Via printers & faxen -> all (Canon)printers delete.
Step 2. Print Spooler Service stop en start.
Step 3. Via printers & faxen -> Server properties -> Drivers; All Canon drivers deleted.
Step 4. Via Windows -> System32 -> Spool -> Color; All Canon Color profiles deleted (CNxxx.ICC)
Step 5. Via Windows -> System32 -> Spool -> Drivers; Al Canon folders deleted.
Step 6. Via Windows -> System32 -> Spool -> Drivers -> 3; folder Temp deleted and everything what is assigned with canon printer driver.
Is there a way to do this by scripting or some other way so I won't have to do all the clients manualy??
Please help me.
kind regards,
