Possible to restore previous emails from Outlook Express?

by crazedsadist / May 30, 2004 4:50 PM PDT

I recently had to reinstall my Windows 2000 on another partition, although I have kept the previous installation's files on another partition. I just want to ask whether I can restore my emails in Outlook Express 5.5 and move them to my new installation (eg. copying and pasting specific files)?

Are you intending to retain Outlook Express? If yes, you need only copy the adress book (wab) and the mail folders (.pst) files into their appropriate microsoft and administrator( or user) folders. I presume you know where to find them off your unnamed O/S and where to put them in W2K?
