Possible problem with Spybot

I just installed spybot but for some reason when opened from one of the two folders it asks if I want to install again. Does anyone know why it does this? It allows me to scan, but when I scan the results are always dso exploit with a green check. Is this just not scanning or not allowing me to see all results? I hope these are not confuseing questions.

Kingsaw, Try This...

In reply to: Possible problem with Spybot

Spybot S&D released a 1.3.1TX version which should fix the DSO Exploit issue. The TX version installer is at the link below. DO NOT uninstall the previous 1.3 version. Simply download the update below and install it over the top.

Thank you. How do I install it over the top?

Do not uninstall the old version...

In reply to: Install

Then install the newer one. It will then be "installed over" first version. That's all! Wink

Yep, Simply Double Click The Downloaded File..

..without uninstalling the previous version. It will install correctly.
