That's hot. Usually you like to see about 50/55C tops. That drive won't last too much longer. Fix that!
So for as long as i can remember, my computer has always had this weird thing it does. It doesn't seem to affect performance very much.
Basically, every so often when the computer is idle (ie. nothing really CPU intensive is running), if i open something like winamp and double click a song, my CPU (i think it's my CPU) will make a spooling up sound.
It starts low, then becomes high pitched, then it makes an audible clicking sound and it's done. The whole thing lasts about 3 or 4 seconds.
I noticed that while the spooling up sound is being made, the computer essentially stops anything it is doing. If i clicked a song and tried to play it, the song will not start to play until after the spooling up.
Obviously, if this happened while i was playing a videogame or something i'd have fixed this sooner. But it seems to only happen when i'm not doing things that are CPU intensive. My CPU doesn't have overheating issues (although i will note that it managed to get knocked loose from my mobo once so i put it back together without a new application of that heat dispersal gel and it worked fine).
This is one problem. The other problem i've noticed is that sometimes my computer will totally lock up. It often is triggered by having too many chrome windows open, with one of the windows being facebook. It is not apparent at first, but then i try to close chrome and nothing happens. Ctrl+alt+delete does nothing, clicking anywhere does nothing, i essentially have to restart manually since the only thing i can do is move the mouse around.
Granted, this happens rarely, but it is annoying.
Here is a look at my event viewer crash logs:

Note that i don't have a temperature reader on my HDD/SSD so ignore the temperature warning.
I did virus and adware scans, nothing seemed out of place. I have a feeling this is a hardware problem. Anyone have any advice?
