but changing the slots might help. It might also be necessary to manually adjust the timings in your BIOS if the SPD function doesn't work right. Set the timing to the slower RAM and don't even think about overclocking. Good luck.
I recently add 2x2gb of ram to my system which is a different(slower) speed then my old ram which is 2x2. My computer now starts turns off and starts up normally. Is there any way to fix this like putting the slower ram in slot 1 or do I need to have the same speed ram?
