It has a menu system that I can capture on a schedule and later I can put what I want to DVD. I will not write at length about this.
Tecn novice here and am looking for some advice. We have a weekend home on a lake. We don't have phone service or internet service there but do have DISH for tv. Problem is it is very expensive considering we are only there on weekends. We have digital cable at our primary house. I am thinking about cancelling the DISH service at the lake and am looking for options on other ways to "watch" tv there on the weekends. We never watch live tv anyway, so I am thinking about options on how to burn tv shows off of another device to watch there. One option I see is to buy a laptop and set it up as a dvr to record shows at our primary home off of digital cable and then take it with us to the lake and hook it up to the tv's there and watch shows off of the hard drive. Is this a viable option? Are there other less costly options for us? While we have DVR's at our primary residence I can't find a way to burn content off onto another storage device. Any recommendations would be very much appreciated. Thank you.
Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly
Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
