Do portable DVD players support pdf files? I'm interested in purchasing a portable dvd to view primarily pdfs and jpegs.

You would have to do some work to convert them to such pictures to be viewed that way.

I'm using my PocketPC to view tech bulletins, operator manuals, etc. when I'm on jobsite. The wider screen of a portable DVD would be helpful. Oh well. I'm glad I asked before I purchased.

Hi,

It would be unlikely to see a portable DVD capable of displaying PDF files. Reason being is that a lot of computing power is needed to process and display a PDF file. Much more so then what's needed to display a JPEG.
