Portable Cassette Player with variable speed

by eborri / March 12, 2004 1:37 AM PST

I'm looking for a Portable Cassette Player with variable speed. The idea is to reduce the speed of the motor in order to get the voice redorded more understable.

Thank you in advance

I am looking for the same thing. It is for my elderly father so he can understand tapes of the Bible. Please let me know if you've found one and where.

How do I slow down a casette tape????
by JarsofClayfan / June 28, 2009 10:32 AM PDT

I am looking for the same thing. I have some casette tapes with my mother and me back in 1974 singing. I want to listen to them, but on a regular casette player we sound like chipmunks. I need a way to slow them down. I can figure out how to import the casettes to my computer, but then what????
