POPS UP DONT WORK

Dec 18, 2004 2:26AM PST

Thank you in advance for your help!
I dont mean the annoying pop ups online. I mean the everyday pop up all over in windows
* Like when you click on the time/date on the taskbar
OR when you click on anything in the control panel OR how a box should pop up when you click on internet option inside internet explorer, or password preferences in m. $. ANYTHING that causes a box to pop up anywhere in windows!
The box will flash on the screen for less than a second and then it is gone.
I am running windows me and have no problems otherwise and have ran a couple virus and spyware programs and they found nothing.
Thanks again for any help at all - this has gone one for months now and it is driving me crazy! Happy

Google Toolbar. . .

Download it and install it. Pop-ups will be gone. Mostly. Some of the newer pop-ups use Flash. That's a little harder. To block these you need to download and install Spyware Blaster (also a good program to block parasites). It has a little built in Flash killer. 'Course you can't watch Flash anything else with it turned on either.

Open google.com and scroll down to Tools. Find the toolbar. Or you can install Mozilla or Firefox. They have pop-up blockers built in.

Good luck,
