Pop up sync window-a nuisance

An unwanted window inviting to sync my mail with mac, PC, phone etc...appears every 15 minutes on my iMac and is very distracting. Impossible to find where to go to deactivate it. I tried yahoo prefs, in vain. Nothing in Gmail nor telus nor mobileme. I do not know where it comes from and I find it very invading. Please help. Thanks in advance. Applequest
