Question

pop up security alert box

Jul 8, 2017 12:03PM PDT

Hi, I have Windows 7 and I use Internet Explorer. I keep getting this popping up>>>>>>>>>
"This identity of this website or the integrity of this connection cannot be verified"?
I tried checking the (time/date) of my computer and that seems to be correct, yet I still keep getting this popup.
Could it have something to do with my popup "settings"?
I checked my security settings and all are set to medium/high for now.
Please help. Thank You

As Dafydd asks: what website? The full link please that brings you to a page giving this message.
Any strange things in Firefox and Chrome with this website (if you have them installed)?

If I see the screenprint of this message in https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/a892f6d6-e801-4581-86bd-44d5a9c31d38/i-keep-getting-this-message-the-identity-of-this-website-or-the-integrity-of-this-connection?forum=dpmworkgroupbackup it looks like it's an issue with the site not using a good certificate. All you can do then: contact them and complain. It's a common error with sites.

If this is happening only on one site do post that site.

If this is happening randomly you might have a guest running.

Grab a copy of adwcleaner and run a pass.
See what it has to say.
