I purchased six years ago a complete top-of-the-line stainless steel Samsung stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, washer and dryer. I had to have the refrigerator fixed twice under warranty for leaking internally. Shortly after going out of warranty it did it again. There was an update on the rear seal and I got Samsung to pay for it. Six months later it now leaks in the other draw. I have to unplug the refrigerator every four months to stop the leaking and defrost it. The washer had a bad front seal and leaked all over my hardwood floor causing me to make a claim with my insurance company. Cost to repair through A&E appliance $232 plus $75 to come out look at it. (the factory service center that says my first mistake was to buy Samsung appliances). Next problem dishwasher gets an error code on the control panel. A&E appliance says it needs a control panel at a cost of $335. Three weeks later they said it was the same problem and replace the control panel again. Five weeks later the same error code and now it needed a new control panel and a water level sensor. The dishwasher was two years old and I junked it. $1000 dishwasher with over $400 worth of repairs tied up into it. A&E said again that's what I can't for buying Samsung appliance. I replaced it with a Maytag dishwasher per the advice of A&E factory appliance. Now I wake up this morning and the FAN on the convection oven is running all the time. Even with the stove off. So what to do? If I call A&E factory service they will probably charge me half the price of a new stove. By the way A&E factory appliance is owned by Sears Holding Company. Kind of ironic don't you think. I am just going to try to unplug the fan in the convection oven and lives without it.
My experience has been to stay away from Samsung appliances!
