Yeah I'd give Google Glass a shot, don't know it until you try it right? In terms of smartglasses as a whole, I think people are looking at it all wrong. I think instead of trying to lump then into one homogeneous category like "laptops" or "smartphones" we'll instead see extreme industry segmentation, smartglasses for surgical use, for extreme sport use, for design use, for gaming use.. etc... similar to knives, chef knives, hunting knives, killing knives. So in terms of whatever you're into, I bet there will be some sort of smartglasses that floats your boat.
