Other Choices

I voted that I use my own but that is not entirely correct. I use a commercially available subscription VPN and have for years since I was once hacked while staying in a 4Star hotel in San Francisco. I now frequently use it even from my home. I wouldn't think of checking my bank or brokerage accounts if not on a VPN.

Yes I use one. Not my own but I am subscribed to VPNWise this month. I personally choose to be anonymous and protected everytime I browse online and also to access some restricted sites of course.

No, but...

I plan to use an online VPN service when I travel abroad to access sites that are accessible in the USA only (i.e. Pandora). An online VPN allows me to access a server that is based in the USA, then using that servers IP address I can access the site that allow only USA based IP addresses.
