right out in front of the public. Such discussion is one of the reasons this forum exists. Besides, I think it's safer than to be redirected to sight I don't know.
Your question isn't a simple one but I'll give it a "No". I might think that certain kinds of sponsorship are "tacky" but they don't imply professional incompetence. The definition of "professional" is, also, not easy to give...and the list of true professionals is, IMO, growing smaller. I'd consider some physicians, educators, scientists, etc. as professionals. . There is, and I think sadly, a different ethic in business than in true professionalism....probably due to their motives. I know what those motives are and they get treated, by me, accordingly. The same goes for true professionals. Just make the adjustment to whatever you encounter and don't expect others to change to fit your picture of what they should be. My two cents. ![]()
I have a poll and I was wondering if you all could take it. It is completely anonymous and just a yes or no answer.
The question is:
"Do you feel it is unprofessional for a business web site to have sponsored links on it's home page?"

I ask because it seems that often times webmasters suggest that it is unprofessional for business websites to use link advertisements on their site. I wonder if the general public do not like to see advertising links on business websites, or if they really do not care either way. Thank you!
