On a photography forum I ran across this question:
When a camera with a Zeiss lens performs well, the image quality is usually attributed to the lens. If a Zeiss lensed camera performs poorly, the lens is never blamed. Why?
One answer was:
PerZeissly, I contribute it to the 3 blind Zeiss theory. If the picture looks nice, it's always the Zeiss, If it's not so nice it can't be the Zeiss. If the picture's so-so it is just a roll of the Zeiss. But take my adZeiss and I aim not to entice, my Zeiss is quite nice!
