PocketPC Dial-up Internet- How to?

This is probably an old issue, but I haven't been able to find information on using a PocketPC (HP rx3715 in my case) and a modem to dial up and access the Internet. My dial up ISP is Earthlink. My DSL ISP is Verizon. Suggestions on where to look for software? Thanks.

You will use what's in the rx3xxxx find the serial cable/modem and just plug away at dial up numbers and logons until you get it. All the software to connect up is there, but will not be easy the first time out. No ISP will support you.

I guess I never stopped to think about the software supplied by ISPs- just "window dressing" in effect. Looks like I should buy the modem for travel purposes.

I have the RX3115 with WIfi.

For me and where I travel, no modem. In fact I haven't used a modem for over 2 years. Wifi access is amazingly widespread.

We went to our daughter's rowing race last weekend, and parked alongside a lake across the street from residences, there were several networks that came up on my PDA. I didn't use them since I believe they were private networks, but I was amazed by how many there were. Problem is, hotels and such charge for wireless access, whereas if I use the modem, I'll be able to connect for the cost of a local call. How do you like the 3115? I debated whether to go with the 3715, but the added native memory and longer warranty tipped the decision. The camera is a side benefit- useful outdoors.

So far...

Where and when I traveled, Internet access was free.
