PN60E8000 annoying beep loop on menu

On my Samsung PN60E8000 Smart TV, there is that small 'ping' you hear when gliding over from app to app on the main menu.

However, on occasion that beep goes on a continuous loop and does not stop until I turn off my TV. This is a continuing problem, and not the only problem I have on the main menu. Sometimes it will start flashing small areas of the screen that have been tiled all over.
Are these common problems, or should I have my TV traded in?

Odd to read such but

Did you call it in? They usually have you reset it and/or check for latest firmware.

As a consumer device it's debatable if we should have fielded units that need newer firmware at all but this is the road the industry chose so it's something we always check.

The reason for the call is two fold. One, your issue and two, they need those calls to alert that something isn't right.

Hi angelmvazquez,

Sorry it took so long to get back to you on this one. You can disable this by going to: Menu > System > General > Sound Feedback.
