PN59D8000 or P60ST60?

So I had a PN59D8000 and I loved it. It had the buzzing noise that others have experienced. I decided to get it fixed under the SquareTrade warranty I purchased. After all the boards were replaced, the problem persisted. During testing with multimeter, one or more of the boards shorted out. SquareTrade is reimbursing me the cost of the TV. So I'm looking at either getting another PN59D8000 (I can get one with another warranty for the price of the reimbursement), but I'm also considering the P60ST60, which I can get at Best Buy for about $200 less than the Samsung. I know it got a 5 star rating on cnet, but my main concern is ghosting or lag with video games, which I play a lot of. I never had any issues with either of those on the Samsung. I'm open to any experience anyone has with either of these sets. Thanks in advance.

...of the Samsung? I've just read several reviews by users saying the lag is noticeable, enough so for a couple to return the Panasonic. I play a lot of games, so it would be a deal breaker for me.

There is a current Samsung model though that looks really great, including good black levels. No idea on gaming lag though, but CNET gave it flying colors mostly.

You will want to consult with a more granular site such as AVS for real-time info regarding gaming lag/inputs on specific models.

Cut your losses and go w/ the ST60

The PQ of the ST60 is quite remarkable, better than that 2 yr old plasma even. My guess is you won't likely experience any sort of lag with this rig.
