PN58C7000 Problem

by rjharrislaw / June 23, 2010 12:30 AM PDT

I just bought the PN58C7000 and I'm getting picture distortion around images that move even on BluRay discs (e.g. Star Trek, the Movie from 2009). The distortion looks like pixilization around the moving object. Any thoughts?

What's the output resolution in the menu of the Blu-Ray player? Also, how is it connected?

Need to disable MJC on the 7000 series

This issue is due to the motion judder canceller being enabled out-of-the-box in the C7000 series with no menu option to turn it off! One quick way to defeat this is to toggle GAME mode on/off - this turns off all processing.

We should start a new thread on this topic as its being highlighted on AVS and in the most recent Consumer Reports review of this series.
