Please help. I've had this tv for a couple of years and can't seem to find a good calibration setting.

I appreciate the help but I've looked and didn't find anything too helpful on AVS. I just want a decent white pt balance as all of the ones I've used are either pushing too red or have a green tint. I dont want to go professional as the tv itself was picked up for only $350.
Doesn't really matter what it cost, a tuneup may do wonders. Why not rent a calibration DVD/BD next? Examples at https://www.google.com/#q=HDTV+calibration+on+the+cheap
Why this is best is that the TV has aged and you can't count on numbers a few years old.
