PN51 550 samsung tv issues with att uverse

When powering up, tv won't recognize hdmi connection with att uverse box. I've tried 3 different hdmi cables, had a samsung service tech come out, replaced the tv to best buy, replaced the att box & it still happens. I have to disconnect hdmi & change tv source to get my connection almost every time... Very frustrating. Love the tv, not sure about uverse...

already tried 3 different HDMI cables

is there a recommended product? I've used a technician provided cable, a "higher" quailty (ie. - more expensive) one from Best Buy, and yet another from the Shack. I've dropped about $125.00 on cables alone...

Usually I notice that my other devices work fine. It's a sad fact that I notice cable boxes seem to exhibit this problem more often than other devices (like Xbox, PS3, DVD/BD players.)

You get the feeling that these boxes are shuffled around the customers in some hope they will stay out there.

Did you ever find a solution? We are having the same problem. It appears to drop the connection when we turn on the tv.
