kanpol13,
I'm not sure why the white-screen was removed (I believe that's true) or the Blue Only calibration screen was removed, but I do know that the new 4-Series plasmas will be 3-D ready, and it will also have the 600Hz Subfield Motion panel, which is a panel that has more responsive phosphors, so there are some significant changes from last year's models.
Hope that helps.

hello all, I currently have the 42a450 with the pink issue, had 2 panels replaced already and still have the same issue. samsung Ecr has been great its the repair companys that have been horrible. samsung decided to replace mine with 42b450 and when looking for information on it have been getting conflicting information like the b450 use last years panels but then on site it states that it has the new e-panel. also I have heard that the B series doesnt have the all white screen in the screen burn protection menu just the scrolling feature and was wondering why. Is it because that was how you were able to see if the tv had the pink hue problem. Also has the blue screen feature been removed from the user menu also, that was real helpful for self calbratin the hue and color, if so why was that removed? I really liked my A450 had a great picture just the pink in the whites bothered me. am looking forward to the new B450 just curious about the panel and features(sorry for such a long post and thank you for all the help here)
