Yes, I am using Intel 82845/G/GL/GE/PE/GV. and required driver is Sigma Tel AC 97. sound driver.

sound problems on puter

just installed xp disc on puter for friend and have seperate sound speakers and now cant get any sound, I guess it may be that i need to download sound drivers any help on this matter would be appreciated

But without make and models I can't give more than the generic advice. While they did follow up with chip part numbers that wasn't good enough.
