What is wrong with the problem computer? Obviously, it can't connect to the internet, but if the problem computer is infected with malware, you CERTAINLY don't want to connect them at this time.. Instead, if there are "fixes" which can be downloaded, why not download them on the "good" computer, copy those files to a CD or flash drive, then transfer them to the "bad" one..

But first, please tell us what the problem is. In addition, please tell us the type of internet connection you're using and whether you have a router as part of that connection.
