Resolved Question

Plex Media Server works after reinstalling, but..

Sep 28, 2016 8:50AM PDT

I will watch a movie in the evening, turn it off, and the next day I have the Message come up "Plex Server Unavailable, please try again". The only way I can get it back, is to uninstall the whole thing/App from Roku 2, then uninstall Plex Version 2.9.0 , from my Programs "uninstall", on my laptop. Then I reinstall, and watch a movie again.

There has to be an issue, but since this started happening after using the app since january (so the issue has been going on 2 weeks now) I am putting in serious time trying to find out what is wrong.

Here is my computer info, as well as Plex and Roku 2. Also exact screen message I get after closing for the night and reopening Plex the next day, or anytime I shut it down and try to get on again.

I see a thing I'd change.

The server name is long and has spaces in it.

If there's something I've learned is to KISS (keep it simple simon).

Beyond that, you may have a Plex support issue.
