Please recommend a not-too-bright monitor

Nov 28, 2013 2:41AM PST

I bought a 23" LG IPS LED monitor for my wife. I really like this monitor. It has an anti-glare design that is attractive. But my wife thinks it is too bright even when the brightness is adjusted at 0.

Can someone please recommend a monitor that is not too bright? A non-reflective screen is desirable as well. She will be use it for work from home.

Thanks.

David

There's a medical condition that can drive this question.

And there are no such displays that can get dim enough so it's back to the doctor for eyewear or to the usual places to drop a filter over the display.

This is one of those frequently asked questions so I'll stop here.

I replaced the LG monitor with a Samsung monitor and the problem solved. This Samsung monitor allows a dimmer screen setting. Just FYI....
