Please help with setup of H/K AVR 435....

I am using this receiver with a 5.1 config due to the room size. The owners manual shows a diagram showing how to connect the different items (DVD, Satallite box, etc), but I think the diagram is wrong. It shows the satellite receiver (both comp out and s video out) connecting into video 3 inputs on the AVR, but it shows the optical out of the satellite connecting into the Optical input 2. Shouldn't I connect the optical out from the Sat. rec. into optical 3 input since I am connecting the video output into video 3? Another question, since I am using this in a 5.1 setup, do I need to change something in the setup of the unit or just hook up the speakers to the correct terminals?

The video and audio/optical should go to the same input.
Will this reciver do 7.1? If it dose you will ahve to change the configuration to 5.1 and hook up the speakers for that. John
