HP taught me many things about their company a while back. First they can't fix issues with their laptops any longer. My last HP had a bug in the bios that would stop it from booting when a smart phone was plugged in. HP's tech tried all settings and more but failed.
Then they sent it to their repair center and it came back in worse shape. Before to boot it I would have to unplug my phone which I used the laptop's charge while the laptop off feature but this issue was quite the annoyance.
On return the laptop would lock up in 5 minutes. Far worse a problem. Calls to HP came back with replies like "We've done all we can" to insults like "You should have bought an Envy."
This happened out of the box (the problem) and at 3 months at their hands.
Lesson 1. HP's warranty is not trustworthy.
Lesson 2. HP buys the BIOS and more so HP is not capable of resolving bugs.
Final lesson. This is my last HP.
