Please help w/ Screen Saver Blackout Virus

I seem to have contracted a virus on my pc. When I boot up my pc everything is fine. The screen displays perfectly fine right up until I login. At this point the screen goes black (as though it is in screen saver mode). Every once in a while it will flash on but almost immediately will go black again.

Can anyone offer up some help?

If you research Windows Corrupt Profile you discover this is a common Windows problem and not a virus. This issue was never resolved for many reasons so try the usual. Boot SAFE MODE and see if the account works. If not, boot SAFE MODE and use your spare Admin account to create a new account then boot normally and try the new account.
