Please help w/installation of ink cartridges on printer

by WhoDisIz / July 14, 2010 12:50 PM PDT

I just bought a new HP Officejet J3600, and am having a terrible time trying to install the ink cartridges. I've tried to follow the manufacturer instructions, and nothing seems to work; the cartridges came with the printer, both black and color, and I can't get either to fit into place properly.

Does anyone have any experience with this type of printer? The instrutions look so simple, yet they're just not working for me.

Thanks for any help you can provide!

I had this issue the first few times with a c4780. The cartridges are not that easy to install the first time. I feel the instructions need revamping. The design is such that you need to slide it in but then change finger positions to lift and pop the cart into place. Textual instructions would fail us here.

If you can't get the carts installed then why keep it? HP's docs are not great here.

Finally got the cartridges installed, but the only decent docs are for the fax, not the rest of the printer - and nothing else on the dang thing seems to work either! Have been talking to HP all day about this mess - USED to buy only HP stuff... not so sure any more.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
