I'll look into the .svi video transcoding. We've tested 1.0 on Windows Vista, and we were able to transfer the files fine. I'm not sure if it's a player issue, or a computer issue. If the player connects to the computer and the computer sees the device, it would appear that the device itself isn't the issue. As far as the software goes, we were able to transfer video files with 1.0.
Are you maybe able to encode the videos and then drag and drop them into the player afterwards?
Dear Mr. Samsung_HD_Tech or anyone who can help,
I received a Samsung YP-S3QL/XSP 2GB as a gift in September 2009. It was purchased in Singapore, though I live in the USA.
I have had no problems transferring videos and music using Emodio ver. 1.0.8 until the past few days. Emodio is now only sporadically detecting my mp3 player. I have read the other posts regarding emodio and have tried versions 1.0 & 1054. They do not work at all. I have uninstalled and reinstalled version 1.0.8 MULTIPLE times with no luck. I have checked system properties and the mp3 player is listed as working properly. I have no problem transferring music using WMP 11, but because of the .svi encoding can't transfer videos. I would be most appreciative of any insight you have into this matter.
