Please Help Removing 180SearhAssistant

by crazyperson312 / March 11, 2007 11:07 AM PDT

Please help somebody! This SNEAKY DEVIL is pure evil. I tried using some of the methods that i found on google but none work. Every time i turn on my lap top and i scan it with ZoneAlarm Security Suite it shows up. When after when i click delete it , it will still show up next time i turn on my pc. I haven't got any pop up or ads that this program was design to do or thats what they think it was design to do. I tried scanning that SNEAKY DEVIL with Ad-Aware Se personal, AVG Anti-Virus, AVG Anti-Spyware, Zonealarm Anti-Virus and Anti-Spyware And Spy Sweeper. None seems to work and this SNEAKY DEVIL is starting to worry me. I don't know is it stealing important information or something but i want it out of my lap top please send a reply fast!!!

DDL
by crazyperson312 / March 11, 2007 11:34 AM PDT

I think its DDL (download right?) well i was trying to download a F2F program call Morphues. I already download the latest version and it couldn't download anything.. I heard that the older version of Morphues could download something so there i go stupid of me not to download site adviser ( i didnt know it exist ). I go ahead and found this older version of Morphues i downloaded it and there was this pop up window call Web Hancer or WebHancer (something like that) and i thought hmm maybe it was apart of the Morphues download process so i accept it. And i realize it was something else so i tried blocking access from my data but it still got through ZoneAlarm... So now i am stuck with it and it haven't or seems like it hasn't been doing anything to my lap top.

That is P2P not F2F, Morphous

It is File Sharing and you got it by leaving your computer wide open to all kids of nasties. Add it to Bearshare, Limeware, KaZaa and a new one WinMX, not only gave me 16 bonzi-buddies 3 years ago, that a 2 CD-R's I made back then I remade turned out that the songs were copyrighted and that was illegal. I had no intention of copying illegal music but my later addition of NERO 6 Ultra told me differently. Your file sharing or Peer to Peer that is the consequences of using them. Darrell L.

P2P is currently not illegal. But just like a car you can either follow the laws or break them. P2P is like your car.

Sorry forgot to add this abouve
by crazyperson312 / March 17, 2007 2:03 AM PDT
In reply to: Key Signature..

Forgot to add this above. I haven't seen any damage on my pc or any advertisement since it has been installed and detected with zonealarm. Is it because i don't use IE or is it a flaw? It might be a flaw because my zone alarm anti spyware is out of date and i cant seem to update it.

you can request help at their forum
by IHateMalware / March 19, 2007 3:07 AM PDT

Hello.

you can post a request at their new forum about your issue and they would reply you i guess on the registry key you are talking about.

Here it is.

http://www.spywaresignatures.com/forums/index.php

Also try to arrange latest signature updates. These malware change and update quickly. Quite possible it might have created something in your PC which is not in the online database of this site. May be they have more info on it an can help.

I requested them for a removal process for Registry Defender software as talked about on these posts.

http://forums.cnet.com/5208-6132_102-0.html?forumID=32&threadID=238272&messageID=2429842#2429842

And they came out with a removal process here

http://www.spywaresignatures.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=4

within 24 hours, and i posted it on thaat forum.

See if it comes to be any good for you ;).

Cheers
Mike :))

by crazyperson312 / March 18, 2007 2:59 AM PDT

The greatest site of all.... DUh www.cnet.com =] BEST SITE EVER!!!! SAYING IT PROUD LOL... Only thing it is missing is a game section where it only talks about games and reviews. Like gamespot or preferably IGN then it would be the king of all sites (i wish i invented cnet).

Meet the drop-resistant Moto Z2 Force

The Moto Z2 Force is really thin, with a fast processor and great battery life. It can survive drops without shattering.
