PLEASE HELP ME with this audio problem!!!

Jun 18, 2007 11:15AM PDT

My computer is a dell with windows xp, but I don't think either of those things have anything to do with my problem. Of course, I'm no computer person at all. OK... I play music out of my speakers or headphones and it plays fine for about one second, and then has this kind of crackling slow down for like half a second, still playing the music but is just this fuzzy slowed down version of it. Like I said it only happens for like half a second, every other second. So it's one second of normal music (how it's supposed to sound), the half second of slow crackling version, and then it repeats that same form, while playing the rest of the song. I hope this is clear enough to understand... please help! Also, it doesn't matter if it's headphones or speakers, I'm almost certain it is some sort of internal problem!

Ive been having issues with my soundcard, and it sound to me like thats what you have. If you are noticing soundcard errors at start up, then that should be the problem, and i would recomend you to buy a new one. hope this helps.
