Pretty clean Speccy.

I have a similar model C2Q which I shared at https://www.cnet.com/forums/discussions/im-upgrading-some-old-iron-what-would-you-like/ and use WiFi too.

To me this sounds like some driver issue as the Speccy is clean. I'd try the REAR USB PORTS first as most front USB ports have issues. Then I'd test with Ethernet (wired.) Then I'd try another WiFi stick.

WiFi must be in line of sight and under 20 feet during testing.

I'd also:
1. Do the CHKDSK /F /X on all drives.
2. Scan for malware with Grif's help at http://www.cnet.com/forums/discussions/how-to-remove-pup-option-603542/#post-f742c795-5881-433b-a29b-6d758efe5cd3
