I have a Toshiba TV Model - CF35D50, connected to a Sony DVD/VCR combo - Model -SLVD100, and for my home theatre I have a Sony DVD Receiver - Model - HCDDX150. I have a Direct Tv HD DVR -Model -HR10250. I am not able to record my receorded shows to my VCR. I have tried and failed adjusting and readjusting all of my cable wires. PLEASE HELP.

My personal feeling is that...

they don't want you to archive these show; so they are making it very hard to do it easily for you and me. My guess is that these unit (DVR) are not designed so that both output can be connected at the same time (that's my guess and I am standing by it, hehe).

In my case, I have a Motorola dvr, it has component and composite out but only ONE audio out; but it doesn't matter because I get nothing out of the composite connection either (component is connected to the TV).

Anyway...just my 2 bits of rambling.

Try firewire

Which Comcast box do you have? SD content should be accessible to you via the firewire port. If you click on my screen name with the posts there should be a thread last year regarding this. I know it's not the VCR but at least it's way of exporting.
