Please help me out.

Hey CNET,

Im having hard time picking out a new TV. I've been looking for an HDTV for a while now, and have narrowed down my options to these 2 TVs:

Samsung HL-P5085W http://reviews.cnet.com/Samsung_HL_P5085W/4505-6484_7-30898679.html?tag=topprods

Pioneer PDP-4340HD http://reviews.cnet.com/Pioneer_PDP_4340HD/4505-6482_7-30595765.html?tag=topprods

Ive seen both of these at BEST BUY and they were the clickest looking TVs there, PIONEERs image quality and viewing angles have AWED me, as well as SAMSUNGS NEW design, touch screen and the 'movie-theater" feel and image quality, im guessing that has something to do with it being a DLP TV...duh. :-p

The thing is I play videogames about 2-3 hrs a day, mostly games like SOCOM 2 and GTA SA and what not. All of the games usualy have HUD bars, and crossairs and stuff like that, which got me worried....If I get the plasma TV, Im probably gonna get some BURN-INs, right? I play with my bro, and we use 1 TV, so we do about an hour, hour and a half a day each. Also most TV stations have those stupid logos at the bottom, which also worries me. Ive heard that I dont have to worry about stuff like BURN-INs with DLP TVs. So maybe thats the best choice for me?

I mean Im an 18 year old kid, and its not everyday i can throw away 3-4Gs on a TV, and yes ive been saving for a while now, and it would kill me If something like a brun-in ruins my new TV.

Now Ive already made up my mind about spending that much money on a TV, so what I really need is help from the experts....I found PLASMAS to be more attractive that LCDs and DLPs, Image quality is just so beautiful, it looks as if tho you are looking at some kind of clear glass and just watching a beautiful holographic image, and you can pretty much see it from any angle!

Im not too interested in LCD TVs because Im not satisfiyed with the viewing angles at all...Ive noticed the colors usualy get darker or at times invert if you are not looking directly at the Tv from like your couch or w/e.

Please help me out, steer me into the right direction...should i go with the DLP SAMSUNG or the PLASMA PIONEER, or maybe you have some other TV in-mind you can tell me about. Tomorrow is the day im going to BEST BUY, so any help is GREATLY appreciated. Also i cannot go bigger than 50inches, and i dont wana go less than 42, so keep that in mind, and to tell you the truth the 2 TVs ive mention are the ones Im really ineterested, help me out pick the better one, once again I want t use the TV for the following:

VIDEOGAMES
DVDs
and just regular TV.

Thank you,
-Brooklyn.
