But let's test where the video is first. Go get VLC PLAYER from download.com and play the .VOB files in that.
OK?
Next step. You need a video editor. Let's go find a DEMO for now so you can ponder if you like it.
"With DVD MovieFactory you can import directly from your camcorder, DVD disc drive, hard drive and TV tuner."

I borrowed a nice Sony DVD Handycam so I could record my little girls dance performance last night. It was four total dances (one amazing solo for an 8 year old!!!) so it is four clips.
I finalized the disk, so it will play fine in my computer, DVD player, PS3, etc. Shows the menu, etc.
Looking at the folder, opens into AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS
Under VIDEO_TS the files are:
VIDEO_TS.BUP
VIDEO_TS.IFO
VIDEO_TS.VOB
VTS_01_0.BUP
VTS_01_0.IFO
VTS_01_0.VOB
Under the AUDIO_TS there are no files showing.
All I want is one 2 1/2 minute clip, so I know I need to somehow convert this DVD into separate clips and need to be named something so they can upload to facebook so my family can see her.
Please help me... I have no idea what to do. I've tried DVDFab, Magic DVD, etc. Nothing is working. ![]()
