Hello, hopefully someone can help me!
Recently I have been spending a lot of time searching for a handheld device that would best fit me. Im looking for a handheld that can do almost everything. I am a teenager but Im not interested in the sidekick or playing games on my handheld. I also have to choose a handheld which is compatible with T-mobile. Im looking more for a mix between a PDA and a Smart Phone. I have narrowed my choices down to the PalmOne Treo 600 and the HP iPaq Pocket PC h6315.
I know that the Treo 650 is out which is why I would feel a bit dumb getting a 600, however, Team Mobile is offering it at $300. Thats pretty affordable compared to the $500 iPaq h6315. I don't think Team Mobile carries the Treo 650 = \. I dont mind how bulky the iPaq is and overall I probably favor the iPaq over the Treo 600. But once again the price.
I dont have any wireless blue tooth enabled devices so I dont favor a device with blue tooth even though if I do get a blue tooth handheld I will probably go out and purchase a wireless headset because the oppurtunity is there. I have also never had a PDA or cell phone. But I dont want you to base your opinion on which is better for a beginner because I have very knowledgable parents and I also am a quick learner. Im probably aiming towards a more fun/multimedia handheld rather than a handheld for work..although I will be doing some work.
My question is if I am looking for the all-in-one-swiss-army-knife-do-everything-device which should I choose? The outdated Treo 600 for $300 or the bulky iPaq h6315 for $500? Or maybe my real question is, in your opinion towards me, do you think that the iPaq h6315 is worth the $200 more than the Treo 600 and if so would I enjoy the Treo 600?
Well I know I probably have written far too much or far too many questions but I would greatly appreciate it if someone could help me out! Thank you very much in advnace. = D
