People do not look life-like and motions are blurred. Some channels like the network HD channels are really clear but the images don't seem to pop. My westinghouse 47 inch with banding looked better on HD. The color on this set is fantastic but if you have side panning it goes to hell. I usually use Discovery Channel HD (Directv) to measure a tv. These images below are from that. My camera is terrible but you can see what side panning looks like. Is that normal?
I watch this tv and its like thats clear but something seems off. Like close ups are really clear but don't seem quite right. Another issue, if anyone has this set. I was told it could be used as a monitor. Using Google home page are you getting a true white? Mine looks dirty white or gray and this makes it harder to read.
I just bought this from best buy. My Westinghouse had banding and they gave me 1095 credit. I added another 600 to go with a name brand. If I take this back for these issues, will they charge a restock fee? I don't have the box, the store kept that because it wouldn't fit in the car, but I have all manuals, remote etc.
Is it work me trying to get into the service menu to try and resolve this? Any help you guys can give me i'll be grateful. I'm beyond frustrated.
Ok my camera isn't the best but its enough to give you an idea... the first is a still shot.. the tv is playing and the camera isn't moving. http://i109.photobucket.com/albums/n71/synergi05/stillshot.jpg
The second is the camera panning sideways over the grand canyon. I paused it and instead of being reasonable clear this gives you an idea of what I see while its moving. http://i109.photobucket.com/albums/n71/synergi05/100_0247.jpg
This is the same thing, another paused shot in a different frame. Its pretty dark as my camera isn't picking up the tv well. But its the blurring I'm refering to. http://i109.photobucket.com/albums/n71/synergi05/Pausedsidepan.jpg
