Please Help! I cannot figure this out!

by rcer450r / May 7, 2007 8:53 AM PDT

Ok I have recently bought the SVP HDDV2100 camcorder and love it but I cannot get the camcorder to hook up to the computer, when I hook it up it says USB not recognized??? What should I do because I really want to just download these pictures... Also I cannot figure out how to download the driver, I went to the svp home and tried to downoad it off the internet but all it does is places a folder on my desktop and I cannot get it to download off the disk either it comes back with an error message.

Just please Help!!!

There was a CDROM in the box with the drivers...
by boya84 / May 7, 2007 9:07 AM PDT

Where is it?

Have you contacted SVP other than just visting their website to get the driver download? Ask them to EMAIL the driver to you if you continue to have difficulty with the download.

Is the camera in "Playback" mode?

What operating system are you using? XP probably does not need their driver - says so at their web site.

Are you saving the pictures to the internal or add-on card? If the add-on card, take the card out and use a card reader.
