PLEASE HELP!!! dropped camera!

Apr 23, 2005 7:09AM PDT

Hi,
I dropped my digital camera (fuji finepix f440) last night, and I broke it. Before I commit to paying an estimate charge at the camera repair place, I wanted to see if anyone knew what the problem might be, or know of an estimate of how much it will cost to repair it.

Thankfully my LCD screen did not break or crack, but something inside the camera must be broken because when I turn the camera on, the image that shows on my screen is all scrambled looking. You can very vaguely see the image, but it's VERY scrambled and the scrambled images move to make it more scrambled, kind of like how a TV scrambled channel would look. That's the best way I can describe it.

Does anyone know what the problem could be? Is it fixable? How much would it cost to fix something like this?

PLEASE HELP!!!!

Thanks...
